What is a legal aid family law mediation conference?

If you have a family law dispute and you are receiving legal aid or the other party is receiving legal aid you can ask the Legal Aid Office (ACT) to arrange a Mediation Conference. If you are receiving a grant of Legal Aid the Legal Aid Office may require you to attend a Mediation Conference.
